A promise that reaches outward. What Covenant means, why it exists, and how a family earns it by helping others find their way here.
A covenant is more than an agreement. It is a promise made with the intention of keeping it, a commitment between people to remain faithful to something they've chosen together. That is what Covenant means here.
Covenant is the first mark on the Referral ladder, a track separate from your family's own Ember journey. It recognizes a family that has helped 100 other families find their way to Family Basecamp. It is not a token, not a contract, and not an ownership stake in anything.
A referral is easy to think of as a transaction. Covenant asks us to think about it differently. When you invite another family, you're putting your own experience behind the invitation, saying that what your family found here is worth sharing. When they join, your invitation becomes part of their story too.
Any family that has referred 100 families who've joined Family Basecamp. When a family crosses that line, Covenant is permanently recorded in their Chronicle. No application, no cost, no purchase path.
Covenant is a recognition mark. It is not an investment, not an ownership interest, and does not represent a share of Family Basecamp's revenue or of any referred family's subscription. It cannot be bought, sold, or transferred.
Recognition in the family's Chronicle, permanently. And separately, once that family also reaches Emunah on their own Ember journey, a real $1 monthly credit begins for each referred family still subscribed, a thank-you for ongoing activity, not for holding Covenant itself.
One family showed up. Another family followed. And the story continued.
Plus Watchman and Lamplighter, the two marks beyond it on the Referral ladder.
