๐ฏ๏ธ Covenant
A covenant is more than an agreement. It is a promise made with the intention of keeping it โ a commitment between people to remain faithful to something they've chosen together.
That is what Covenant means here. Not a contract. Not ownership. A family that helped another family find their way here.
Your family's Ember journey is about showing up for each other. Covenant begins when you help another family do the same.
A family that tells another family about Family Basecamp is doing more than making a referral. They are saying: "This has mattered to our family. We think it might matter to yours too."
When that family joins, your invitation becomes part of their story. Covenant recognizes families who have done that again and again.
Covenant is part of the Referral Ladder, separate from the Ember Ladder.
Embers record what your own family does together.
Referral recognition records the families you helped discover Family Basecamp.
At 100 referred families, Covenant is permanently recorded in your Chronicle. It is recognition of a promise kept: you told them, they came, you helped open the door.
Because a referral is easy to think of as a transaction. Covenant asks us to think about it differently.
When you invite another family, you're putting your own experience behind the invitation. You're saying that what your family has found here is worth sharing. And when another family trusts that invitation and joins, something happens that has nothing to do with a number on a dashboard.
One family's experience becomes another family's beginning. That's the idea behind Covenant.
Covenant is a recognition mark. It is not an investment. It is not an ownership interest. It does not represent a share of Family Basecamp, its revenue, or another family's subscription. It cannot be bought, sold, or transferred.
The recognition is symbolic. The impact behind it is real.
Recognition in your Chronicle
At 100 referred families, Covenant becomes part of your family's permanent record. It tells a simple story: this family helped open the door for others.
A thank-you for real referrals
Once your family reaches Emunah, a $1 monthly credit begins for each family you referred who's still an active subscriber. That credit comes from ongoing activity โ it does not come from owning Covenant.
Covenant is the first major mark on the Referral Ladder. Beyond it:
Each mark tells a different story. None represents ownership. None has a market value. They simply preserve the history of what families have done for other families.
One family showed up.
Another family followed.
And the story continued.
